ObamaCare Vote Approaches
September 17, 2009
President Obama’s government-run health care bill will be voted on in a key Senate committee next week.
Will you help me keep up the fight against Washington’s takeover of Louisiana’s health care?
It has only been a week since representatives returned to Washington after being in their home states during August, and President Obama is already making speeches to silence debate and bolster liberal efforts to force this bill into law.
Washington liberals know I’m the biggest thorn in their side when it comes to their disastrous health care agenda. I’ll use every procedural tool to take this bill down.
And with my fundraising deadline just two weeks away, I’ve made it my goal to show how much Louisianians support me – and not the President – in this fight.
I held 21 town halls across the state last month, and Louisianian opposition to government-run health care couldn’t be clearer. I’ve just posted a special video message about these meetings, so I hope you’ll take a look today and help me keep up the fight.
With this critical vote close on the horizon, time is of the essence. Will you help me show President Obama how much support I have in fighting this measure by viewing my special video message and making a secure online donation today?
The bottom line is that fundraising numbers indicate the strength of support I have as I fight this bill. Every dollar you can pledge right now will represent one more unit of support I can show Washington’s liberals when this bill is brought up for a vote.
There are two weeks left to send a message this quarter. Will you stand with me with a donation of $500, $250, $100, $50, $25, or whatever you can give right now?
Every dollar will be an investment in the future of our great state.
Thank you for your support.
