Thanks for Making TEA Party Day A Success!

Friends,

I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who helped make TEA Party day a success on Wednesday. Thomas Jefferson once said that “all tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent,” and on Wednesday, we let Washington’s liberal leaders know that we will not be silenced.

Our fight for lower taxes and fiscal responsibility is far from over, however. Washington pundits and politicians attacked me this week for being a vocal proponent of the TEA Parties, ridiculing me and launching character attacks for defending our conservative values.

Your voice is being heard, but I need your help to keep up the fight, and there are a number of ways that you can get involved. If you haven’t yet signed up to receive campaign emails, I encourage you to do so at www.davidvitter.com so you can stay up to date on the latest from the campaign trail.
